Sesame Peanut and Dried Fruit Candy

If you love fruit dessert, you must try this Korean sesame candy! This recipe specially adds freeze-dried fruit to make it even more tasty.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Place the peanut on the baking tray, bake for 7 minutes until golden brown. Let cool and set aside.

Step 2
In a dry pan, toast the white sesame seed until golden brown. Let cool and set aside.

Step 3
Brush some oil on thesilicone mat and set aside.

Step 4
In a pot, add the corn syrup, caster sugar, sea salt and water. Cook for 4 minutes on a medium low heat until boil, gradually shake the pot, but no stir.

Step 5
Stir with spoon when the caster sugar melted until stringy.

Step 6
Add the white sesame seed and peanut. Quick stir until it form into a ball and place it over thesilicone mat. Add the dried fruit and roll into 2cm thick.

Step 7
Let cool and cut into pieces. Wrap it individually with rice paper wrapper and sweet wrapper.

Step 8
Ready to serve.
