Seared Wagyu Steak with Trio Sauce

Every time cooking steak at home always come with potato and vegetable? How to make it a bit different? This time will start with the sauce, this 3 homemade simple special sauce can make this wagyu steak gives 3 different flavors.

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190°C.

Step 2
Clean and cut the potatoes in halves and place in the mixing bowl.

Step 3
Add the cayenne pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning and some olive oil. Toss well and place in a baking tray.

Step 4
Place it in the oven and bake it for 20 minutes until golden brown and tender.

Step 5
Prepare the salsa verde sauce. In a blender, combine the parsley, chives, basil, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, capers, salt, black pepper and blend until smooth.

Step 6
Prepare the red wine sauce. In a pot, reduce the beef broth by half on medium high heat. Add the red wine, brown sugar and balsamic vinegar. Cook it for another 10 minutes until the sauce has reduce by half again. Season with salt and black pepper.

Step 7
Prepare the honey mustard sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, sour cream and honey.

Step 8
Heat a pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Sear the beef steak until brown as desire. Transfer to the plate and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Step 9
Serve the steak with the roasted potato and the trio sauce.
