Seared Shrimp Cake

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Chop the cilantro and chilies.

Step 2
Juice the lime.

Step 3
Mix 3/4 lime juice, fish sauce and chilies to make dipping sauce.

Step 4
Shell the shrimps and remove heads and tails. Smash and chop the shrimps into paste.

Step 5
Add cilantro, egg white, remaining lime juice, corn starch, ground white pepper and salt. Mix well and refrigerate for 15 minutes.

Step 6
Make the shrimp paste into patties and coat with bread crumbs.

Step 7
In a pan, heat some oil and add shrimp patties. Sear on medium low heat until golden brown on both sides and cooked.

Step 8
Serve with dipping sauce.
