Seared Pork Chop with Cordyceps Mushroom Sauce

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Pat dry the pork chops and use the back of the knife to slightly pound on the chops to loosen up the meat. Lightly season with salt and black pepper.

Step 2
Heat a frying pan over medium high heat and add a bit of olive oil. Sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes per side. Remove chops from the pan and cover with tin foil to keep warm.

Step 3
In the same pan, cook sliced mushrooms and onions. Sauté until lightly brown, about 5 minutes.

Step 4
Add in chicken broth and stir. Using wooden spoon to scrape up the brown bits off the bottom of the pan.

Step 5
Add in NutriGreen Pure Cordyceps Mycelium directly into the pan. Bring the sauce to a boil and lower the heat and let sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Step 6
Add the pork chops back into the pan and cover the pan with tin foil or lid. Continue to cook for 15 minutes or until pork chops are cooked through and tender.

Step 7
Add in corn starch mixture to thicken the sauce if necessary. Place chops and sauce on serving plates and sprinkle chopped parsley.
