Seared Iberico Pork Chop with Raisins and Apple Sauce

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Peel and dice the apple.

Step 2
Rinse and pat the pork chop dry with kitchen paper. Marinate with salt, black pepper, rosemary and olive oil for 30 minutes.

Step 3
In a pan, add some oil on medium high heat. Add pork chop and sear each side for 2 minutes. Reduce to medium heat and sear each side for 4 minutes or until cooked. Transfer to a plate and set aside.

Step 4
In another pan, add the butter and cook until melted. Add diced apple, Sun-Maid Seedless Raisins, light brown sugar, lemon juice, ground cinnamon, and apple juice. Mix well, cook until the apple is tender and the sauce is thickened. Pour the sauce over the pork chop and ready to serve.
