Seared Chicken with French Mushroom Sauce

Step 1
Slice the button mushrooms, julienne the onion and chop the garlic.

Step 2
Marinate the chicken thigh with salt, black pepper, thymes and tarragon for 15 minutes.

Step 3
In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Add the chicken thigh and sear until cooked. Transfer to a plate.

Step 4
In the same pan, add the butter and cook until melted on medium heat. Add garlic, onion, button mushrooms and sauté until fragrant on medium high heat.

Step 5
Add all-purpose flour and stir well. Add chicken broth and stir until no lumps.

Step 6
Bring to boil, reduce to low heat and cook for 5 minutes until thickened.

Step 7
Add whipping cream and black pepper to season, drizzle over the chicken thigh and ready to serve.
