Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
In a bowl, combine minced pork with marinate ingredients. Mix and marinate for 10 minutes

Step 2
With your hands, form 2 pork patties about 1-cm thick

Step 3
Place one boiled egg in the center of each patty and wrap the minced pork around the egg. Refrigerate for 15 minutes

Step 4
In a bowl, combine egg (raw) with water and white pepper

Step 5
Take the large meat balls out from the refrigerator, coat with a layer of bread crumbs

Step 6
Then dip into the egg mixture and coat with another layer of bread crumbs

Step 7
Return the meat balls into the refrigerator to chill for 15 minutes

Step 8
Heat up some oil on medium high heat (about 180 degree Celsius), deep fry the Scottish eggs until nice and golden on the outside

Step 9
Remove from heat, remove excess oil

Step 10
Then allow the eggs to cool for 5 minutes. Cut into halves

Decorate
