Sacher Torte (3-4 Servings)

Sacher Torte is the best chocolate cake for all-time, and a famous classic Viennese cake. The rich chocolate flavor can stay in your mouth for so long. This is definitely the best dessert after a romantic dinner.

Step 1
Pre heat oven to 190 degrees

Step 2
Separate egg yolks and white

Step 3
Wrap the bottom of cake mold by baking sheet and aluminum foil, place it in the oven

Step 4
Blend egg yolks with half sugar, and blend egg white with another half sugar

Step 5
Melt butter in a pot

Step 6
Add dark chocolate, stir until the dark chocolate is completely melted

Step 7
Mix the egg white and egg yolks, add the melted dark chocolate butter, stir them lightly. Add cake flour and cocoa powder, stir them well.

Step 8
Pour the dough into the mold, bake for 40 minutes.

Step 9
Bake for 40 minutes.

Step 10
Remove the mold when it has cooled down. Uses wrap plastic to pack it and place in the fridge.

Melt chocolate over a pot of hot water

Blend butter and egg white.

Boil water and sugar in a pot until its thickened

Add the thickened sugar into butter, stir them

Pour the melted chocolate in, mix them well

Boil milk and whipping cream, crush into chocolate and stir them well.

Cut the chiffon cake horizontally into 2 layers

On the first layer, spread a generous covering of the chocolate cream, smooth it by spatula

Put the second layer on top

Refrigerate for 2-3 hours until the chocolate cream is frozen

Melt the topping over a pot of hot water for 36-37 degrees,place the frozen cake on a tray, spread the toppings evenly on the cake
