In a bowl, soak the glutinous rice in 200mL water for 30 minutes

Slice the pumpkin open on the top

Then empty the centre, remove the seeds with a spoon

In a mixing bowl, combine the glutinous rice, pumpkin flesh and red dates. Mix a little

In a pot, combine 100ml water with rock sugar. Simmer on medium heat until sugar has completely dissolved
