Pumpkin Chicken and Green Peas Congee

Step 1
Rinse the rice, add the water and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and keep stirring. Cook until the rice has broken up

Clean and peel the pumpkin. Cut into small pieces

Step 3
Steam the pumpkin until soft

Step 4
Put in blender, and blend to smash. Then add some water and whisk until your own consistency

Step 5
Strain it through a sieve for a smoother pumpkin mash

Bring water in pot to a rolling boil and cook the green peas

Step 7
Drain and press them through the sieve. Add some water and whisk until your own consistency

Clean the chicken breast and chop it into mince chicken by knife

Add the mince chicken to the congee and bring it to a boil

Step 10
Place the chicken congee into a serving bowl, add the mashed pumpkin and green peas puree. Ready to serve
