Step 1
Peel and dice the pumpkin. Soak the clams in salt water for 30 minutes, drain and set aside.

Step 2
Rinse the rice and drain. Marinate with salt and oil for 30 minutes.

Step 3
Cook rice, pumpkin, ginger and water on medium high heat and bring it to boil. Cover the lid, reduce to medium low heat and cook for 30 minutes.

Step 4
Open the lid. Add clams and cook until clams opened.

Step 5
Sprinkle with green onion, ready to serve.
