Prime ribs is a dish which cannot be miss during festive day. According to each person preference to slice the thickness of the ribs that goes with the thyme au jus. Just the imagine of the picture will make it mouthwatering.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Remove the thyme leaves off the stem. Reserve one tablespoon for the thyme au jus

Step 2
In a small mixing bowl, combine the salt, pepper, thyme leaves, dried oregano and mix well

Step 3
Sprinkle the mixture over ribeye loin and rub it evenly

Step 4
Place the loin on a roasted pan and roast for 2-3 hours. According to your preference on the temperature of the meat

Step 5
Remove the prime rib on a rack

Step 6
Cover with foil and let it rest for 20 minutes

Step 7
Pour the juice from the roasting pan to the pot

Step 8
Add the red wine and cook until the sauce reduce by half

Step 9
Add the beef broth and cook until it reduce by half

Step 10
Whisk in the butter to thicken the sauce

Step 11
Add the thyme leaves, salt and pepper to taste

Serve the Au Jus with the prime ribs
