Prawn and Squid Ink Risotto

The taste of risotto is elevated by squid ink! You can prepare it at home easily as well.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Dice the onion. Rinse and devein the prawns. Set aside.

Step 2
In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Sauté the onion until fragrant.

Step 3
Add Arborio rice and mix well. Add white wine.

Step 4
Add squid ink and mix well. Ladle some fish broth just enough to cover the rice and let it simmer until the rice has absorb the broth.

Step 5
Repeat the step until the rice is cooked then add butter and mix well. Transfer to a plate.

Step 6
In another pan, add some oil on medium heat. Add prawns and sear until cooked. Season with salt and black pepper.

Step 7
Place on top of the risotto. Ready to serve.
