Poached Chicken with Conpoy

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Soak the conpoy until soft and shred

Step 2
Stuff the ginger and green onion inside the chicken

Step 3
In a pot, bring the water to boil and blanch the chicken for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside

Step 4
In a large pot, add water, Swanson Clear Chicken Broth 1L, Chinese cooking wine and bring it to boil

Step 5
Add the chicken (make sure the broth has covered the chicken)

Step 6
Add the shredded conpoy. Bring the broth back to boil

Step 7
Reduce the heat and simmer the chicken for 20 minutes

Step 8
Cover the lid, turn off the heat and let the chicken sit for 30 minutes. Drain and let cool

Cut the chicken into pieces

Brush the chicken with sesame oil
