Combine barley and raw peanuts. Soak in water for an hour

Transfer the barley and raw peanuts to a pot, add water

Bring to a boil on high heat and simmer for 30 minutes

Peel and cut the taro into 1/2-inch thick pieces

Step 6
Steam taro over water for 10 minutes

Step 7
Transfer to a bowl

Mash the taro with the back of a spoon. Add sugar, mix well

Add flour to the taro mixture. Mix well

With your hands, form small taro dough balls

Add rock sugar

Step 12
Add the taro dough balls (round them with your hands)
