Pasta with Bolognese Sauce

Step 1
Fine dice the onion, celery and carrot

Step 2
In a sauce pan, add oil, butter and sauté onion, carrot and celery until tender

Step 3
Add the beef and cook until no pink

Step 4
Add wine and cook until nearly dry. Add milk and nutmeg, cook and reduce the by half

Step 5
Add the chopped tomato and chicken broth, season with salt and pepper. Simmer for about an hour

Step 6
In a pot, bring the water to boil, sprinkle with salt and cook the pasta until al dente for about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside

Step 7
Spoon the sauce on the pasta and garnish with basil and serve hot.
