Pan-fried Shrimp, Kimchi and Cheese Dumpling

Adding kimchi to the meat filling is very tempting. Wrap a shrimp in it to make it looks more appealing and give a more complicated texture.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Chop the kimchi, garlic and set aside.

Step 2
Mix together the minced pork with the light soy sauce, light brown sugar, ground white pepper, salt, grated ginger, minced garlic, Chinese cooking wine and sesame oil. Stir until sticky and marinate for 30 minutes.

Step 3
Add kimchi, mozzarella cheese and mix well.

Step 4
Place some fillings on the dumpling wrapper. Wet the edges and form into dumplings.

Step 5
In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Add dumplings and pan-fry for 1 minute.

Step 6
Add 75mL hot water and cover the lid. Pan-fry for 4-5 minutes.

Step 7
Remove the lid and pan-fry for another 1 minute. Ready to serve.
