Pan-fried Potato and Pork Curry Dumpling

Potatoes can be a choice of dumpling filling! This curry flavoured dumpling will surely bring you surprises.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Peel and dice the potato. Chop the onion and garlic. Set aside.

Step 2
In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add onions and sauté until fragrant.

Step 3
Add potato and stir fry until cooked. Add curry powder and ground turmeric. Mix well, let cool and set aside.

Step 4
Marinate the minced pork with light soy sauce, light brown sugar, ground white pepper, sesame oil and salt for 30 minutes. Add curry potato, onions and mix well.

Step 5
Place some fillings on the dumpling wrapper. Wet the edges and fold it to shape.

Step 6
In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Add dumplings and pan-fry for 1 minute.

Step 7
Add 75mL hot water. Cover the lid and cook for 4-5 minutes.

Step 8
Remove the lid and pan-fry for another 1 minute. Ready to serve.
