Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Soak the mushrooms until soft and slice.

Step 2
Soak the rice vermicelli in water until soft, drain and set aside.

Step 3
Slice the onion and red bell pepper.

Step 4
Slice the pork and marinate with Chinese cooking wine, light soy sauce, sugar and white pepper for 20 minutes.

Step 5
In a pan, add some oil on a medium heat. Add the rice vermicelli and cook until golden brown on both sides. Cut into wedges and transfer to the plate.

Step 6
In the same pan, add some oil on a medium high heat. Sauté the garlic until fragrant. Add the pork and cook until golden brown.

Step 7
Add the onion, mushroom, red pepper and toss well.

Step 8
Add the chicken broth, oyster sauce, light soy sauce, sugar and white pepper.

Step 9
Cook until the sauce has thickened, add the green onion and stir well. Pour it over the rice vermicelli and ready to serve.
