Pan-fried Daikon Bun with Pork Filling

Winter daikon are tender and juicy. Use it as the ingredient to make the filling of the pie or bun. Daikon sweet and juicy, plus the right amount of the ground pork, ginger, green onion and other ingredients that make the taste richer. This pan fried method not greasy and also has crispy crust, it is suitable for breakfast and afternoon tea.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Combine the all-purpose flour, yeast and water. Knead until the dough is smooth. Cover with plastic and let it sit until double the size.

Step 2
Peel and shred the daikon. Squeeze out 2/3 of the water. Chop the green onion and mince the ginger.

Step 3
In a large bowl, add the shredded daikon, ground pork, green onion, ginger, white pepper, light soy sauce, Chinese cooking wine, egg, corn starch, salt and mix well.

Step 4
Divided the dough evenly in small dough. Use the rolling pin and flatten the dough.

Step 5
Add the filling and close the dough. Slightly press the dough to flatten.

Step 6
In a pan on a medium low heat. Cook the daikon pancake until golden brown on both sides. Ready to serve.
