It is time-saving to cook paella with the hot plate. You may cook with your friends on the dining table to add more fun to your gathering!

Step 1
Dice the onion, tomato, red bell pepper. Chop the garlic and parsley. Clean and devein the prawns. Clean and pat dry the mussels. Soak the saffron in the white wine. Cut the lemon into wedges and set aside.

Step 2
In the hot plate, add some oil on medium heat. Add Spanish chorizo sausage and sauté until fragrant. Add paprika and mix well.

Step 3
Add garlic, onion and stir fry until fragrant. Add tomato, red bell pepper and stir fry until fragrant.

Step 4
Add paella rice and spread it evenly. Add white wine, saffron and cook until alcohol evaporates. Add seafood stock and bring to boil. Season with salt and black pepper.

Step 5
Cover the lid, reduce to low heat and cook for 10 minutes.

Step 6
Remove the lid, place seafood on top. Cover the lid, cook for 8-10 minutes or until cooked.

Step 7
Sprinkle with parsley and place lemon on top. Ready to serve.
