Oyster Linguine with Pumpkin Sauce
Recipe Details
Mostly pasta goes with either red sauce or white sauce, this time I will use orange from pumpkin to make the sauce. The sweetness from the pumpkin and the freshness from the oyster are in perfect match. It makes the traditional pasta becomes more abnormal and more attractive.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Mix together corn starch and oyster, rinse under water and drain.

Step 2
In a boiling water, add ginger and slightly blanch the oyster for 30 seconds, drain. In a boiling water, add salt and cook the linguine for 5 minutes, drain.

Step 3
Cut the pumpkin in pieces, cook the pumpkin in water until soft. Remove the skin and use the blender to blend until smooth.

Step 4
In a non-stick pan, add oil and sauté the garlic until fragrant. Slightly cook the oyster then add white wine, linguine, pumpkin puree, chicken broth and Italian seasoning. Cook for a minute then serve.
