One Pan Lamb Chops

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Pat the lamb chops dry. Cut off and reserve excess fat. Season with salt and black pepper.

Step 2
Leave the garlic whole and unpeeled. Wash garlic and green beans. Pat dry.

Step 3
In a big frying pan, add olive oil over medium high heat. Add the lamb fat into the pan and add in green beans, unpeeled garlic cloves and sauté for 3 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.

Step 4
Push the green beans and garlic to the side of the pan and add in lamb chops, cooking about 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Add lemon zest and orange zest to the pan along with the fresh thyme. Let cook for 1 minute.

Step 5
Remove the lamb chops and green beans to a plate and set aside. Squeeze in the juice of 1/2 lemon and 1 whole orange into the pan. Season with sugar, salt and black pepper. Let the juices reduced for 2 minutes.

Step 6
Spoon sauce and garlic cloves over lamb chops. Serve immediately.
