Okinawa Taco Rice

People may think of Mexico when we talk about taco rice. However, it is originated from Okinawa in fact. It is very appetizing to add stir-fried beef, tomatoes, avocado and mayonnaise with rice!

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Julienne the lettuce, dice the tomato and avocado. Set aside.

Step 2
In a pan, add some oil on a medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add minced beef and sauté until cooked.

Step 3
Add ketchup, light soy sauce, rice wine, ground cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper. Sauté until the beef is cooked.

Step 4
Layer lettuce around the rice. Place the beef, avocado and tomato over rice. Sprinkle with nachos.

Step 5
Drizzle with mayonnaise and ready to serve.
