Mushroom and Pork Belly Stew

Step 1
Cut the pork belly into equal pieces. Soak the mushroom in water until soften, drain dry and set aside.

Step 2
Peel the garlic and crush them. Slice the ginger. Cut the green onions into sections. In a pot, heat up some oil on high heat. Add ginger and green onion to saute until aromatic.

Add pork belly to pan fry until golden, about 5 minutes. Add Chinese cooking wine.

Pan fry the pork belly until golden, remove the ginger and garlic. Also remove the pork belly from heat, set aside.

Using the same pot, add garlic to saute until aromatic. Add mushroom to saute quickly, sprinkle Chinese cooking wine.

Add stock and water and bring to a boil. Cover the lid and reduce to medium heat, simmer for 20 minutes.

Add pork belly and seasoning ingredients. Cook for 15 minutes. Add corn starch mixture and stir until sauce thickens. Ready to serve.
