Mini Sausage Roll

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Remove the casing from the sausage and place in a mixing bowl

Step 2
Add the onion, bread crumbs and pepper and mix well

Step 3
Roll the puff pastry on a flour surface about 2mm thick

Step 4
Cut the pastry into equal size rectangles

Step 5
Lay the sausage mixture on one end, roll the sausage up

Step 6
Brush the other end with egg wash to seal

Step 7
Place the sausage rolls in the fridge for 20 minutes

Step 8
Cut the roll into pieces and place on the baking tray

Step 9
Preheat the oven to 180ºC, bake it for 15 minutes until golden brown

Step 10
Brush the rolls with the remaining egg wash

Step 11
Bake it for another 10 minutes or until the rolls turn golden brown and crispy

Step 12
Transfer the rolls to the plate and serve warm
