Mini Chocolate and Banana Cake

Apart from Takoyaki, you may make this cute mini chocolate cake with the hot plate. A perfect snack for tea time!

Step 1
Dice the banana.

Step 2
Sieve the cake flour, unsweetened cocoa powder and baking powder. Add granulated sugar and mix well.

Step 3
Add eggs and mix well. Add milk at times and mix well. Add vegetable oil and mix well.

Step 4
Heat the Takoyaki hot plate to low heat and brush with oil. Pour batter until 70% full.

Step 5
Add banana and chocolate chips. Pour batter to cover the fillings. Cook at low heat for 3-4 minutes.

Step 6
Use a skewer to flip and shape into balls. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Step 7
Transfer to a plate. Sprinkle with icing sugar and ready to serve.
