Meatball Stuffed Bitter Gourd

Bitter melon is such a healthy material that can be considered as the best of all the summer melons. We use assorted meat to eliminate the bitter taste of bitter melon can make those who dont like it enjoy it and start to eat healthy!

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Mince mushroom, mix with minced pork and egg. Add soy sauce, cooking wine, 10ml chickening sauce, mix well.

Step 2
Clean and cut the bitter gourd into 3-4cm long strips.

Step 3
Boil a pot of water on high heat, blanch bitter guard until bright green.

Step 4
Put cooked guard into cold water.

Step 5
Add the minced meat into bitter guard, compress firmly and put on the plate. Steam the dish on high heat for 10-15 minutes.

Step 6
Drain extra water in the bitter guard.

Step 7
Make the sauce: mix soy sauce, 10ml chickening sauce, sugar, salt into the water. Set aside.

Step 8
Put the cooked guards on the plate, pour sauce from step 6 over the dish, ready to serve.
