Matcha and White Chocolate Brownies

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 180°C. Line 20 x 20 cm brownie pan with parchment paper.

Step 2
In a big bowl, whisk flour, matcha powder, baking powder and pinch of salt together. Set aside.

Step 3
Melt white chocolate and butter in a double boiler over low heat.

Step 4
In another bowl, whisk sugar, eggs and vanilla extract together until well combined. Add in white chocolate mixture.

Step 5
Pour wet ingredients into flour mixture and mix well.

Step 6
Stir in chocolate chips.

Step 7
Pour batter into prepared brownie pan, sprinkle with chopped almonds. Bake in oven for 20-25 minutes.

Step 8
Let cool for 5 minutes. Cut into squares and dust with icing sugar.
