Soak the white fungus, remove the core and cut into pieces.

Step 2
Peel the lotus root, carrot and cut into pieces.

Step 3
In a pot, add the water and all the ingredients and bring it to boil over high heat.Reduce the heat to low, cover the lid and cook it for 2 hours.

Step 4
Season with salt and ready to serve.
