Step 1
Clean and cut the chicken into pieces

Step 2
cut the lean pork into a medium size

Step 3
In a pot, bring the water to boil and blanch the pork and chicken for 2 minutes

drain off the water

Cut the red dates in half and take the seed out, then soak in water

Step 6
In another pot, add all the ingredients back in the pot. Make sure the water level is cover all the ingredients

Cover the lid, with high heat and bring the water to boil, then turn down to medium heat and cook it for 2 hours

Step 8
season with salt

Step 9
Remove the excess oil with the special drainer “as shown in video”

Step 10
Transfer to the pot, then serve
