Recipe Details
Köfte is a traditional dish which made by lamb, usually shaped into a patty or ball. The smell whetted people’s appetite, the bubbling gravy comes out when you are cutting the meatball. Have a small bite, and the essence fulfill your mouth and tongue. When the right meat meets the right spices, they can complement one another. The chewy texture with minced meat can match with sandwiches or salad, also the Turkish yogurt.

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees, shred onion, take the leaves of thyme and chop basil.

Step 2
Take a bowl, add minced mutton, grounded black pepper, and thyme and mix well, marinate for 15 minutes.

Step 3
Add shredded onion and mix well, shape the meat into a ball, put on a tray with oil brushed

Step 4
Mix Turkish spices, grounded cumin and barbecue sauce, brush on the meatballs and add some chopped basil on top.
