Japanese-style Miso Daikon

Step 1
Pour water into a pan, cook the kelp knots in boiled water for 5 minutes, then add the shredded bonito and continue to cook for 3 minutes. Remove the kelp knots and shredded bonito. Set aside.

Step 2
Peel the daikon and cut it into 2cm-thick chunk. Cook the daikon for half an hour.

Step 3
Add white miso, melt the miso and cook for another 5 minutes.

Step 4
Remove the daikon to a plate, sprinkle chopped green onion for garnish.
