Japanese Oyster Rice in Rice Cooker

Step 1
Clean the oyster with some corn starch and rinse under water until the water is clear. Drain and set aside.

Step 2
In a pot, combine the sake, mirin, hondashi sauce, grated ginger, Japanese soy sauce and bring it to boil.

Step 3
Add the oyster and cook for 2 minutes. Remove the oyster and save the sauce.

Step 4
Add the rice in the rice cooker and pour the sauce. Press the start button until the rice is cooked.

Step 5
Add the oyster, chopped green onion and cook for another 2 minutes. Ready to serve.
