Half-baked Lavender Cake

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Place the baking paper on the cake mold and set aside

Step 2
Beat the egg white with lemon juice and salt

Step 3
Add sugar in 3 times

Step 4
Whisk until hard peak form

Step 5
Add the egg yolk one by one and beat until combine

Step 6
Add honey and rum to mix well

Step 7
Add the lavender

Step 8
Reserve about ¼ of the batter for later use

Step 9
Add the remaining batter into the sieved flour and mix together

Step 10
Add the batter in the cake mold, make a well in the middle and pour in reserved batter

Step 11
Preheat the oven to 170°C and bake it for 10 minutes until the the top of the cake turn golden brown

Step 12
Remove the cake from the mold and let cool. When the cake is completely cool off, remove the baking paper. Ready to serve
