Green Tea Roll

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Heat up a sauté pan on medium high heat, roast 1/4 cup of shredded coconut until slightly golden and aromatic

Step 2
In a mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, wheat starch, sugar, green tea powder and 2 tablespoons of shredded coconut. Add water and mix well

Step 3
In a separate bowl, combine all of the filling ingredients

Step 4
Prepare a baking tray (aluminum or glass), brush with a layer of oil

Step 5
Then pour some rice flour mixture inside (about 2-3mm thicken)

Step 6
Steam over water on high heat for 4 minutes. Once the green tea roll is cooked, remove from heat

Step 7
Add the filling ingredients on top in the centre

Step 8
Carefully roll up from one end to the other

Step 9
Then coat the outside with some filling ingredients

Step 10
Slice and serve
