Glutinous Rice Ball with Peanut and Sesame
Recipe Details
“Tong But Lut” is similar to glutinous rice balls but it is without soup. By adding the special peanuts mixture on top, we are sure you will love it.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Mix the crushed peanuts, roasted white sesame, sugar and coconut flake. Set aside.

Step 2
Add warm water bit by bit to glutinous rice flour and knead the dough until smooth and not sticky. Divide and roll into balls.

Step 3
Bring the water to boil. Add rock sugar, ginger and bring to boil again on medium heat. Reduce to medium low and cook until thickened.

Step 4
Bring a pot of water to boil. Add the glutinous rice balls and keep stirring. Cook until floated, drain and transfer to the sweet soup.

Step 5
Cook on medium low heat for 8 minutes and transfer to a bowl.

Step 6
Sprinkle with the peanut mixture. Ready to serve.
