Garlic Butter Prawns

Step 1
1. Wash the prawns, trim the heads and legs. Butterfly the shrimp (slice half way open on the back).

Step 2
Marinate with Chinese cooking wine and white pepper.

Step 3
Beat the egg.

Step 4
In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, salt, black pepper, dried herb, and butter, mix well.

Step 5
Coat the prawns with a layer of flour, then brush with beaten egg. In a sauté pan, heat up some oil on high heat. Add prawns to deep fry for 2 minutes, until golden on both sides. Remove from heat.

Step 6
Next, add the garlic butter on the back of the shrimp. Then bake in a preheated oven (220 degree Celsius) for 6 minutes. Sprinkle with shredded green onion. Ready to serve.
