Fried shrimps coated in preserved egg yolk, also called “Golden Shrimps”, are a popular Chinese dish. This dish is called golden shrimps because the preserved egg yolk sauce is golden yellow in color. Although the dish is very delicious, it is rather high in cholesterol. To improve the nutritional value, we reduced the number of egg yolks to lower the amount of cholesterol.
