Fresh Mushrooms over Shanghai Cabbage

Step 1
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add salt and Chinese cooking wine. Blanch the Shanghai cabbage for 2 minutes. Drain and arrange on serving plate

Step 2
Drain and arrange the Shanghai cabbage on serving plate

Step 3
In a pan, add some oil on a medium heat. Sauté the ginger, garlic, fresh mushrooms, sesame oil and sugar

Step 4
Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add water and cook for 3 minutes

Step 5
Mix together the oyster sauce, corn starch and water. Add to the mushroom and cook until the sauce is thicken

Step 6
Pour the mushrooms and sauce on top of the Shanghai cabbage. Ready to serve
