French Potato Pie
Recipe Details
Cook the potato with milk and whipping cream before baking! The Gruyères cheese gives an extra fragrance to the dish.

Step 1
Preheat an oven to 180. Peel and thin slice the potatoes. Melt the butter and set aside.

Step 2
Heat the milk, whipping cream and bring to boil on medium heat.Add potatoes and mix well. Add sea salt, black pepper, ground nutmeg and mix well.

Step 3
Reduce to medium low heat and cook for 20-25 minutes. Remove from heat, add 2/3 Gruyères cheese and butter. Mix well.

Step 4
Layer in the baking tray. Sprinkle with the remaining Gruyères cheese.

Step 5
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked. Ready to serve.
