French Pan-roasted Duck Breast with Cranberry Sauce

Step 1
Preheat an oven to 200°C. Cover a baking tray with foil.

Step 2
Score the duck breast skin diagonally in cross pattern. Season with salt and black pepper.

Step 3
In a pan, add some oil on medium high heat. Add the duck breast with the skin side down and pan-roast until golden brown. Flip it over and pan-roast until golden brown.

Step 4
Place on the baking tray and bake for 6-8 minutes. Slice and transfer to a plate.

Step 5
Cook the red wine until thickened. Add cranberry sauce and mix well.

Step 6
Remove from heat, add butter and stir until melted. Drizzle over the duck breast. Ready to serve.
