Prepare matcha sauce. In a pot, add water, caster sugar and matcha powder. Cook and stir until matcha powder melts completely.

Step 2
Add corn starch water and mix well.

Bring it to a simmer and cook until caster sugar melts completely. Refrigerate and set aside.

Step 4
Mix and sift the cake flour, matcha powder and baking powder.

Step 5
Beat the egg. Add sugar and mix gently.

Melt the white chocolate and unsalted butter in a double boiler until smooth. Let cool and set aside.

Add the egg wash bit by bit into the white chocolate mixture. Mix gently.

Fold in matcha flour by 3-4 times. Stop when mix well to avoid prevent excessive toughening of the batter.

Fold in sweet red bean gently.

Coat the waffle machine with cooking spray and preheat to medium high heat.

Pour the batter about 3/4 full in the waffle machine. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until cooked.
