Puff is common in those dishes with noodles and tasty in combination of various fillings. For eggplant and green chili pepper as filling, it is less oily and also fleshy. Both the vegetables are rich in vitamin C so this is regarded as the best dish for vitamin C supplement.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Mix flour and water to make dough. Cover it with wet cloth for 30 minutes.

Step 2
Clean and chop eggplants and green chili pepper to dices the mix well. Mix well soy sauce, sugar, salt, 5 spices powder, black pepper powder, Shi Sanxiang powder and cooking wine.

Step 3
Put eggplants in heated pan with oil. Pan-fry until they are softened.

Step 4
Divide the dough to 8 pieces.

Step 5
Roll every pieces to round slices, which thicker in middle and thinner on edge.

Step 6
Put eggplants and green chili pepper dices on dough pieces. Then fold it to make the sharp of Baozi.

Step 7
Slight press on the Baozi and flatten them. Turn the side with less flaw up, smear with oil and powder with white sesame.

Step 8
Heat the pan with oil and pan-fry the pies until all cooked and turn golden.
