Earl Grey Tea Lemon Almond Brownies

Preheat oven (to 165 degrees C). Line the bottom and sides of 9-inch square baking tin with parchment paper.

Step 2
Wash the lemon and zest it, then squeeze the juice out;

Microwave the butter for 1 minute, just enough to be melted completely;Then add sugar into the butter,Mix one egg at a time untill well combined.(do not over mix)

Sift the flour and almond meal then add into the butter mixture.

Then add lemon zest, tea powder, lemon juice, and heavy cream, make sure that is well combined.

Step 6
Pour the batter into the baking tin and sprinkle almond chips on top. Then, tap the tin to let the air bubbles out.

Put into the oven and bake for 45 minutes, until there is no sticky batter on the skewer when poked. then let the cake cool down, and leave the brownie in the freezer for 2 to 4 hours. Then cut into pieces when you are ready to eat.
