Durian Mochi

The soft, chewy texture and fragrance of glutinous rice never fails to trigger your appetite. With the rich durian filling, each bite is full of the taste of summer!

Step 1
In a blender, add the durian flesh and blend until smooth.

Step 2
In a mixing bowl, combine the glutinous rice flour, potato starch, sugar and vegetable oil.

Step 3
Gradually add the milk and whisk until no lumps.

Step 4
Brush the plate with some oil and pour in the mixture. Cover with plastic and steam it for 15 minutes. Let cool completely.

Step 5
Mix together the coconut flake and cooked glutinous.

Step 6
Scoop a small dough and place it between the plastic wrap and slightly squeeze out the dough.

Step 7
Place the durian in the middle of the dough.

Step 8
Tight the plastic to form into a ball.

Step 9
Dust the mochi with the coconut flake mixture.

Ready to serve.
