Deep-fried Squid with Chili and Spice Salt

Salt and pepper squid is a very common dishes at cooked food stalls, deep fry crisp squid with garlic, shallots, chili spicy taste, very appetizing.

Step 1
撈起魷魚放在廚房紙上吸去多餘油份

Step 2
中火燒熱另一個鍋,加少許油,炒香蒜蓉及乾蔥,加入蔥花、指天椒及魷魚快炒

Step 3
Small dice the garlic

Step 4
Small dice the shallot

Step 5
Chop the red bird’s eye chili

Step 6
Chop the green onion

Step 7
Transfer to the paper towel to pat dry

Step 8
Season the squid with Chinese cooking wine, salt and white pepper

Step 9
Dredge the squid with corn starch

Step 10
Heat a pan on high heat, add enough oil for frying. Deep fry the squid until golden brown and crispy

Transfer to the kitchen paper to soak up the excess grease

In a pan, add oil on a medium high heat. Sauté the garlic and shallot until fragrant, add the green onion, red bird’s eye chili and the squid. Quick stir
