Deep Fried Olives with Green Chili Yoghurt Dip

Deep Fried Olives with Green Chili Yoghurt Dip
Ingredients

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Coarsely chop the herbs, chop the green pepper and transfer into a container.

Step 2
Add cardamom, chopped herbs, some sugar and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Step 3
Add lemon juice and basil leafs.

Step 4
Transfer into a blender to blend until smooth. Pour into a small bowl. Set aside.

Step 5
Mix the yoghurt add the green pepper mixture (from step 1), mix well.

Step 6
Remove the olives from can, drain completely dry with kitchen towel. Then coat each olive with flour, egg wash, and bread crumbs. Repeat with all of the olives.

Step 7
Heat up some on medium high heat, add breaded olives to deep fry until golden, about 1 minute.

Step 8
Remove and transfer to plate, remove excess grease with kitchen towel. Transfer the green pepper yoghurt dip into a plate. Serve with the fried olives.
