Daikon Carrot and Mushroom with Beef Shank Soup

Apart from cooking rice, rice cooker can be used to make soup. With carrots and beef shank, it brings you fresh and sweet soup.

Step 1
Soak the mushroom until soft. Remove the stem and cut in half

Step 2
Peel and cut the daikon, carrot into pieces

Step 3
Cut the beef shank into pieces

Step 4
In a pot, bring the water to boil. Add the Chinese cooking wine and blanch the beef shank for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside

Step 5
Place the beef shank, daikon, carrot, mushroom and ginger in the rice cooker

Step 6
Add enough water to cover all the ingredients

Step 7
Press the button and cook until the switch turn off and let it sit for another 30-45 minutes

Step 8
Season with salt and ready to serve
