Daikon and Carp Soup

Crap contains lots of protein and radish is rich in minerals, vitamin C and other nutrients. Combine these two ingredients and make the soup that can recover water beauty effect. Also the fresh from the fish and the sweet from the daikon that make the soup more delicious.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Clean the carp. Peel and cut the daikon into pieces. Shred the leeks, slice the ginger and chop the cilantro.

Step 2
In a wok, add some oil and sear the leeks, ginger and carp until golden brown.

Step 3
Add enough water to cover the carp and bring it to boil. Reduce the heat to low, add Chinese cooking wine, white pepper and cook for 20 minutes.

Step 4
Add the daikon and cook for another 15 minutes until the daikon is tender.

Step 5
Season with salt, sprinkle with cilantro and ready to serve.
